Submissions sought for regenerated student magazine

The English Undergraduate Student Association has issued a call for submissions of poetry, prose, and art from any UWindsor student for the revival of its literary publication, Generation.

The magazine has been defunct for some years, but the club is bringing it back, says president Ayat Ibrahim.

“The student-run zine was one of the oldest student journals in Canada,” she says. “In the spirit of revival, our upcoming issue, Generation: Reborn, will encapsulate themes of rebirth, renewal, and resurgence.”

Editors are seeking submissions of:

  • Poetry, three pages or less;
  • Prose, 500 words or fewer;
  • Collage art or illustrations.

Text should be MS-Word or PDF files; art should be .jpeg or PDF files. All submissions must be original and unpublished.

Send submissions from a UWindsor email account to eusa@uwindsor.ca by Feb. 15.
