Isabella Anes, Teighan Stoukas, and Queenie Ndome of the Lancer women’s basketball team entice campus alumni with a $1 ticket to Sunday’s games.
The Windsor Lancers, in partnership with the University of Windsor Alumni Association, are inviting campus alumni to attend Alumni Sunday Funday at the Toldo Lancer Centre on Sunday, Feb. 4. Tickets will be available for $1 each at the gate or online using promo code SUNDAYFUNDAY.
Alumni can catch varsity basketball action against the visiting Guelph Gryphons starting with a 2 p.m. tip-off for the women’s game followed by the men’s contest at 4 p.m. The $1 ticket includes both games.
“We’re counting on alumni on campus and in the community to help fill the stands in support of our basketball teams as they make a push for the playoffs,” says women’s basketball head coach Chantal Vallée.
The game will include giveaways, contests, and halftime games sponsored by the Alumni Association.
