Job proposals open for Winter 2024 Ignite Work-Study program

Funding applications for the Winter Ignite work-study program are open to UWindsor faculty and staff.

Funding for the Winter 2024 semester will be limited and include the following amendments for this semester only:

  • Funding will be available for a maximum of 50 positions across campus.
  • No more than one job proposal per applicant will be reviewed and a maximum of one position per supervisor will be approved.
  • Supervisors granted four or more student positions in the fall of 2023 will not be granted a winter 2024 role. Priority will be given to new applicants and positions that have not been previously funded in fall 2023.

Job proposals can be submitted through Qualtrics with an application deadline of noon Nov. 22. Late applications will not be accepted.

For more information about the changes to the winter 2024 funding applications, visit the Ignite website. Questions can be directed to ignite@uwindsor.ca.

The Ignite work-study program is co-ordinated by Career Development and Experiential Learning, a unit of the Office of Experiential Learning.
