The new license application process of the Professional Engineers of Ontario is the subject of an information session Thursday, July 27.

The regulatory body has introduced changes that make applying for an engineering license more efficient, transparent, and fair.

Aimed at engineering students, Thursday’s session will feature presentations on the benefits of joining the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers and certifications available through the Project Management Institute, as well as the new process of applying for a license from the Professional Engineers of Ontario.

It will begin at 6 p.m. in room 1120, Erie Hall. Admission is free; register to attend.
