Tweets to summarize grad student research

The Faculty of Graduate Studies is hosting a competition challenging UWindsor graduate students to share a summary of their scholarly activity via the Twitter social media platform.

The 3rd annual Twitter-based Graduate Showcase is set for the morning of Wednesday, May 17. It invites contestants to use their own Twitter accounts to promote their research in any format — text, image with text, or video — using the hashtag #UWINGradShowcase and tagging home departments and faculties.

A judges panel will select prize winners:

  • $500 for UWindsor Twitter Showcase Champion,
  • $200 for best eligible entry in each faculty, and
  • and five $100 honourable mentions.

Entries will be used to celebrate UWindsor grad student research and creative activity and may be featured in the DailyNews.
