An award-winning business educator will discuss how entrepreneurs can make money from their ideas, Thursday in a free public event sponsored by the EPICentre.
David Schonthal, a professor of innovation and entrepreneurship at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, will present at 7 p.m. September 17 in room 1100, Centre for Engineering Innovation.
A leader in the business design practice at the innovation consultancy IDEO, Schonthal helped develop initiatives such as its “Startup-in-Residence” program and approaches around venture design and corporate entrepreneurship.
His honours include a Kellogg Faculty Impact Award for excellence in teaching and being named to Crain’s Chicago Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list in 2014.
