Universities Canada has launched phase two of UniversityWorks, a web resource on the value of a university degree.
This phase include a series of video testimonials from students and employers, as well as accompanying data demonstrating how hands-on learning experiences prepare students for the labour market and make organizations stronger.
Videos include undergraduate students describing how experiential learning has validated their choice of university studies, upgraded their skills and given them the confidence to tackle a challenging job market. Employers are shown describing how they hire co-op students and interns because of the skills and experience they bring to the workplace.
